Dr. Verdah Bismah
Dr. Bismah completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University. She studied medicine at Queen’s University and then went on to the University of Toronto for her residency in family medicine.
She practices a broad scope of medicine, including emergency medicine at Lakeridge Health; inpatient care at Scarborough Health Network (ortho-trauma hospitalist), Oak Valley Health (post-acute hospitalist), Lakeridge Health (hospitalist); and geriatric medicine at Lakeridge Gardens, Lakeridge Health’s long-term care home in Ajax. Additionally, she works as a physician for Correctional Facilities Canada and is also an investigating coroner within Durham Region.
