IV Infusions

Family Medicine And Urgent Care

Our IV Infusion services provide safe, medically supervised treatment in a comfortable clinical setting. IV therapy allows medications and nutrients to be delivered directly into the bloodstream for fast and effective results. We currently offer iron infusions to help treat iron deficiency and related conditions.

  1. Your physician will complete the referral form and fax it to Priority Health Clinic.
  2. Priority Health Clinic will contact you to schedule your infusion.
  3. A form will be sent to Whole Health Pharmacy, which will call you to organize payment of the iron medication (this is a separate fee from the infusion fee).
  4. Whole Health Pharmacy will arrange transport of the medication to Priority Health Clinic.
  • Infusion sitting fee: $175 per visit ($140 if you are pregnant and you are being referred by your OB)
  • When to pay: This fee must be paid at the time you book your appointment
  • Important: This fee does NOT include the cost of iron.
  • The iron is supplied by Whole Health Pharmacy, and we do not control its price. You must contact Whole Health Pharmacy directly to find out the cost.

Number of visits:
Some patients may need more than one infusion. The infusion fee is charged for each visit.

Insurance & Receipts:
You will receive a receipt to submit to your insurance. We do not offer direct billing. If any amount is not reimbursed, you can keep your receipt and may be able to claim it as a medical expense on your income tax.

  • Available Days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Service Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Expected Duration: 1 to 3 hours, depending on the specific treatment.
  1. Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
  2. Bring your Health Card and a list of current medications.
  3. Sit for your infusion — duration will vary based on specific treatment.
  • Dress Comfortably: Wear a shirt that allows easy rolling up of your arm for the IV.
  • Bring Activities: Consider bringing a book, tablet, or quiet activity to help pass the time during your infusion.
  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your appointment.
  • Plan for Relaxation: Bring headphones if you enjoy listening to music or podcasts.
